During April 1^st - 3^rd 2008, ACG had a major presence at the JEC Show in Paris. With more than 1000 companies now exhibiting, the JEC Show is the world's principal market place for the composites industry and, as in previous years, there was a constant flow of visitors to the ACG stand.

The level of new enquiries obtained from potential customers was significantly higher than in 2007, but it is also the case that a considerable number of in-depth discussions were held with existing customers and suppliers alike. The Show continues to provide an ideal backdrop against which ACG's challenging targets for sales growth can be pursued. At this year's event, the messages being transmitted to stand visitors were that the integration of the Primco business into the Group, as "ACG Manchester", has been proceeding successfully and that the development of the new DForm prepreg system has reached the point where it can be offered to the market place.

An excellent impression of ACG was projected to the audience who attended JEC 2008, and the Umeco group of companies is recognised as one of the largest and most significant groups within the world's composites industry. It is clear that JEC is now more than just a trade show for exhibitors and, in addition to running alongside the European SAMPE convention, the 2008 event offered opportunities for staging "live" demonstrations, Technical Sales presentations and Technical Forums. Planning for the 2009 event has already started and due consideration is being given to the broader opportunities that the Show affords for ACG to promote its technologies, products and services to the global market.
