ACCOUNT MANAGER - GERMANY
We are looking for a dynamic individual to spearhead the company's penetration into this fast-moving region. This will be a field-based role with the successful appointee working from either a home base or small office located in Germany.
The role will require considerable travelling within the region and it is envisaged that at least 50% of their time will be spent either travelling to and from, or face to face with customers.
The candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Business Studies, Engineering, Material Science or similar) and ideally, be able to demonstrate previous experience of having worked in either a sales, marketing or technical support role in a technical environment. The ideal candidate would speak English and have fluency in at least German any other European language skills would be an advantage.
The candidate should have a sound knowledge of, or have worked in the field of high performance composite materials, preferably in the aerospace or a similar high technology market sector. Knowledge of "prepregs" or resin bonded continuous fibre reinforced structures would be a great advantage and priority would be given to candidates who could demonstrate such knowledge.
PROCESS DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN
Reporting to the Process Development Manager, primary duties will be related to the assisting the Process Engineers in the implementation of improvements to prepreg manufacturing processes, commissioning of new process machinery, production support and other day to day tasks in this busy department. Other duties will include support to the Health, Safety and Environment function.
The successful applicant must be numerate, computer literate and mechanically minded. Knowledge of the manufacture of composite materials would be an advantage, although full training will be given.
The position would ideally suit either a person qualified to A level standard in Sciences or Materials subjects or someone experienced in prepreg manufacture wishing to further their career.

BUSINESS ACCOUNTANT
Based at our head office candidates responsibilities will include maintenance and development of cost, contract and manufacturing reporting, controlling the standard costing system, P&L and cash flow forecasting, fixed asset control, sales and order book and cover within the department.
The candidate should possess in depth analytical experience with a minimum of three years experience in manufacturing. Excellent presentation and communication skills and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are essential together with a full driving licence. Candidates should be either CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
ASSISTANT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Based in our busy and friendly finance department candidates will be responsible for ensuring various functions are effectively and efficiently administered including weekly cash book control, monthly management accounts preparation, VAT returns, intrastats and provide cover including sales, purchase ledger, cash flow forecasting and hours analysis within the department.

REGIONAL SALES ACCOUNT MANAGERS

SALES ADMINISTRATOR
The position, reporting to the Sales Office Manager, will be ideally suited to an individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to carry out administrative functions in a timely and organised fashion. Knowledge of composite material applications and experience within a manufacturing sales environment would also be important factors. Language skills would be an advantage.
If successful the candidate will work within a team of 5-6 other Sales Administrators who play a vital role in the company's success, providing the pivotal and coordinating link between the customer and the company. Responsibilities will include order planning and acknowledgement, quote preparation, progress chasing and generally acting as a liaison between the customer and all areas of the company to ensure best service is provided.

PROJECT MANAGER - COLLABORATIVE R&D
Applications are now invited for technical Project Managers to lead key tasks within the company's overall input into a major UK multi-partner research programme. Reporting to the Collaborative R&D Manager, the job holders will be responsible for both project management and the technical leadership of various work packages within the programme.
Successful applicants are likely to be qualified to at least honour degree level in polymer chemistry, materials science or composite engineering disciplines and should ideally have previous project management experience, preferably in composites or other advanced materials-based environment. They must also be able to demonstrate the capability to drive tasks through to completion against time constraints.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN & MECHANICAL TEST TECHNICIAN
The Laboratory Technician role will involve the operation of analytical equipment, the manufacture of formulated products and to provide general support to development chemists.
The Mechanical test technician role will involve the operation of mechanical test equipment and the manufacture of test samples.
Suitable candidates will be observant, detail conscious, practically minded and capable of maintaining the highest levels of laboratory cleanliness. They must be self-driven, motivated and able to work with limited supervision. Candidates for both roles are likely to be educated to "A" level standards in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or an appropriate science. But applicants with some knowledge of chemistry or physic and laboratory experience will be considered.
PRODUCTION TECHNICIANS
Ideal candidates will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment, preferably operating coating or laminating equipment, however this is not essential as full on the job training will be provided. The ability to work as an active team member is essential. Shift working including nights will be required. The work requires high levels of accuracy, traceability and reproducibility, therefore good grades in the basic qualifications of Mathematics and English are essential. The working pattern is based on a three shift rota covering 24 hours over 7 days with shift allowance payable.
DEVELOPMENT CHEMIST

The candidate will be responsible for developing and introducing, innovative, market leading composite materials and adhesives for a variety of applications. Applications are now invited for the above position, reporting to Engineering Manager ACE. The role will be to provide general technical support, including R&D assistance, for ACG sales in all markets and project engineering support for ACG.

- Providing customers with in-depth technical support and assisting in material and process development for those customers.
- Identifying R&D opportunities, both customer and ACG driven, defining appropriate programmes of work and co-ordinating this work within ACG.
